Dr. Peter Nardone was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and attended Hofstra University, graduating in 1981 with a degree in biology. From there he went to the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, and received his degree, with honors, in 1985. After various externships in community health centers and Boston's Veteran's Hospital, Dr. Nardone came to Richmond and has been with the Patterson Eye Clinic since 1985. He is a member of the Richmond Optometric Society, the Virginia Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Nardone lives on a small farm in Montpelier, Virginia, with his wife, Jane, and their three horses and cat. A private pilot and passionate bodybuilder, he also enjoys watching football and lacrosse. Dr. Nardone has postgraduate training and is certified in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease.
